The Challenge
The 2024 edition didn’t really have a strong visual identity, and it showed. Different touchpoints felt disconnected, and the whole thing didn’t feel as cohesive or recognisable as it could have been.
Our Approach
The idea was to build something more structured, without making it rigid.
The logo carries the UnboxingBLR heart, keeping it connected to the larger brand while still feeling like its own thing.

A system where the core stays the same, but the theme and colour evolve each year, something recognisable, but never repetitive.
For 2026, the focus was climate and sustainability. We chose neon green, intentionally bold and hard to ignore. If we’re asking people to rethink cities and climate, the visuals shouldn’t feel passive.
I built the identity from the ground up, from the logo and visual system to defining how it shows up across social media and campaigns. Beyond that, the work extended into shaping the event itself, thinking through how the experience should feel, how people move through it, and how design can make it more engaging.
Here’s a look at the event branding I designed for this project ✨
Outcome
The system carried across everything, from installations and digital screens to banners, standees, and stage visuals, making sure every touchpoint felt connected.
On the day, I was also involved in running the main stage console alongside the video production lead, coordinating screens, reworking layouts in real time, and making sure everything held together as the event unfolded.
People paused, interacted, and engaged with the space. Design didn’t just communicate, it created participation.
